I had my first contact with this company over the phone, and the conversation lasted for 45 minutes. Overall, it was a pleasant conversation that left me with a very positive impression of the HR person's willingness to share a considerable amount of information about the company.
I was assured that I would be contacted shortly for feedback and a potential discussion regarding the next steps.
However, it has been five weeks since then, during which I've sent two messages and made a phone call to the HR representative I spoke with. Unfortunately, I have not received any response or feedback. These are instances where you realize that a company's values are elegantly displayed on its website, much like items in a shop window. The written declarations about inclusivity, prioritizing the human element, and fostering innovation, knowledge, and continuous learning at all ages are just for the impression. In fact, the real essence of organizational culture strikes you when you engage with the people directly and realize the gap between the company’s declarations and its effective practices.
