Client Description:

Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Mastery
- Architect, develop, and maintain complex IaC scripts and templates (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure components.
- Establish version control and CI/CD pipelines for IaC to ensure code quality and traceability.
2. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Leadership
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications and infrastructure.
- Integrate pipelines with source code repositories to streamline the release pipeline.
3. Containerization and Orchestration Expertise
- Architect and manage containerization solutions (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) for scalable and resilient deployments.
- Optimize containerized environments to enhance performance and resource utilization.
4. Advanced Configuration Management
- Manage and improve configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to maintain consistent system configurations.
- Implement automated deployment strategies for complex applications.
5. Monitoring, Alerting, and Performance Tuning
- Design and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) to proactively address issues.
- Conduct performance tuning to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
6. Security and Compliance Leadership
- Collaborate with security teams to integrate security practices into DevOps workflows, including access control and vulnerability management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaboration and Mentoring
- Foster collaboration between development and operations teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Promote DevOps best practices and serve as a subject matter expert.
8. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
- Create comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions to support team development and continuous improvement.
9. Incident Response and Release Management
- Participate in on-call responsibilities to address critical incidents or perform planned maintenance during non-business hours.
Candidate Profile:
As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player within our DevOps team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the automation, collaboration and infrastructure management practices that enable efficient software delivery and system reliability. Your expertise will drive the adoption of DevOps principles across our customers' organizations and within our own. You provide technical guidance to junior team members, contributing to the overall success of the DevOps team.
