Role description
The Project Manager is responsible for the governance and project management initiatives within the Security department and will ensure that the activities of the Security projects workstreams are handled in a consistent manner while meaningful progress is made and ensure accurate governance over decisions needed for work to be signed off.
The Project Manager will also help the different teams mitigate the project risks and dependencies to make sure there is progress towards the project's milestones. All these activities are needed to help the program deliver against the shared objectives and goals.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Apply and structured methodology to and lead project/change management activities.
- Design and implement project governance and delivery structure to ensure efficient delivery, communication and decision making.
- Document program objectives, requirements and success criteria, KPIs, planning, risks and dependencies, and in general project status reports
- Drives the program scoping, planning and execution, working with the FareHarbor and Booking.com teams, and crafting associated documentation to ensure project objectives are met on agreed timelines
- Drive the successful delivery of the end-to-end project lifecycle for technical implementations of security solutions (data security, infrastructure security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and/or cyber defense).
- Ensure a project closing and accurate handover to business as usual, covering NIST and SOC2 requirements.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous relevant experience of 3-5 years
- PMP of equivalent certification is preferred
- Experience in leading change management tasks
- Proven experience of leading end-to-end integration with an ability to understand multiple security solutions
- Ability to work effectively and influence up to senior manager
- Understanding of infrastructure security, data security, and/or cyber defense
- Experience working and handling multicultural teams
- Ability to handle a large number of collaborators and build consensus
- Consistent record of developing and maintaining valuable partner relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Solid grasp of change management and ability to guide people through change
- Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced English knowledge
