For our Business Intelligence team in Bucharest, we are therefore looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst.

The overall purpose of this position will be to provide a 360-degree consumer view, integrating different data sources and building an integrated consumer & brand knowledge.

Key goals are to efficiently support local management and regional business teams within the design and execution of business strategies, ensuring consumer centric and data driven decisions, sustained by a deep understanding of our adult consumer needs. This position is of critical significance in providing local affiliate management with hindsight, insight, and foresight of the information necessary for making strategic business decisions.


Key accountability is to contribute to data science strategy, analysis, and reporting, integrating different data sources and being able to translate business requirements into technical language.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the implementation of the data science strategy and continuous development and maintenance of the company’s Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Develop in-depth understanding of the database, platforms, apps, and 3rd party systems
  • Participate in local and regional projects related to new products and platforms launches, operational processes, targeted communications, consumer segmentations, machine learning and predictions
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of end-to-end consumer-centric programs, from ideation stage to hyper-care, leveraging business and technical knowledge and capabilities together with extensive consumer data and analytics
  • Develop models to support the commercial organization run What-if scenarios, to ensure higher ROI for all commercial initiatives and increase revenue
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams responsible for reporting and analytics to ensure alignment in the design and implementation of data elements, reports, dashboards
  • Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, customers, or the wider organization
  • Identify opportunities to use insights/datasets/code/models across other functions in the organization
  • Provide in-depth analysis, meaningful insights and concisely deliver main takeaways both in verbal and written form to business and technology stakeholders through data visualization dashboards, reports, and presentations
  • Manage relations with different 3rd parties and oversee implementations, making sure all technical developments are in line with the business briefs and requirements

We’re looking for someone with:

  • >2 years experience with Business Analytics/Intelligence, Data Analytics or a similar role working on large scale data integration projects such as data warehousing
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Financial Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics
  • Hands on experience in SQL, Python, databases, data structures and data visualization techniques and tools, such as Power BI
  • Good EXCEL knowledge
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate stakeholders at a variety of levels
