Role Description:

The Post Trade Division in LSEG has launched a Data Transformation program called Concorde. The objective is to have a new, centralized, and secure way to handle Post Trade data on cloud native technology in AWS and Snowflake. The operating model is a federated model with Core Engineering teams based in London/Bucharest and Engineers based in each Business division to lead the implementation of Analytic tenancies on AWS/Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write requirements and user stories for Concorde platform and data engineering teams to implement solutions. Must understand BDD acceptance criteria to facilitate implementation.
  • The ability to prioritise backlog items based on challenging business and technical demand.
  • Understanding the full data landscape on the Concorde platform including data catalogue, quality, completeness and lineage.
  • Analyse the Concorde data landscape to provide efficiencies and improvements to Post Trade Data Store/Concorde.
  • Understanding the Post Trade Common Data Model, ensuring data on-boarded to Concorde is in-line with Post Trade Common Data Model and identify gaps in this model and any technical debt associated.
  • Horizon scanning of new tenant on-boarding and data opportunities to feed into Concorde pipeline.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience writing functional requirements, data designs and user stories for Engineering teams.
  • 5+ years’ experience working with data warehouse and/or data lake application. Preferably Snowflake implementation.
  • 5+ years’ experience of data modelling and architecture.
  • Ability to analyse large data sets using either SQL and/or Python.
  • Experience working with data governance and lineage tooling, preferably MS Purview.
  • Experience working in a federated application/platform environment and with Cloud hosted applications, preferably AWS.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery methodology across full SDLC.
  • Backlog prioritisation and grooming for Concorde Data Engineering Projects.
