SoftServe's Big Data & Analytics Center of Excellence focuses on data consulting and engineering. Data Engineers and Architects nowadays build data and analytic end-to-end solutions from strategy through technical design and PoC to full-scale implementation. We have customers in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and energy domains.

We hold top-level partnership statuses with all the major cloud providers and collaborate with many technology partners like AWS, GCP, Microsoft, Databricks, Snowflake, Confluent, and others.

IF YOU ARE

  • A Data Architect specializing in data platform design
  • Experienced with both batch and streaming data processing
  • Ready to lead a team of data engineers
  • Skilled in developing scalable data solutions using AWS services, building efficient data pipelines
  • Knowledgeable in big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or Flink for advanced data processing
  • Familiar with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Managed Apache Airflow (MWAA) for scheduling workflows
  • Versed in Kafka, streaming concepts, Avro file format, SQL, GitHub, and Snowflake
  • Adept at utilizing data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift or Snowflake for storage and analytics
  • Proficient in designing Data Warehouse data modeling (Kimball’s or Inmon methodology, data vault)
  • Unrivaled in translating customer requirements into development tasks, estimating timelines, and guiding teams toward project completion

AND YOU WANT TO

  • Work closely with key business partners to understand and document the flow of data within different lines of business
  • Attend and contribute to the technical design authority, reviewing and approving changes to our architecture where appropriate
  • Hold workshops with key business users to gain an understanding of current and future platform requirements
  • Oversee the translation of business strategy into technical design documents
  • Build data models and process flow diagrams
  • Write user stories in the backlog for the engineering and development teams
  • Create data mapping and definition documentation down to the attribute level
  • Cooperate with the Project Coordinator to plan project estimation and project roadmap
  • Take ownership of design activities and ensure the product developed meets the design specifications
