Client Description:

Adecco Executive Search Division is looking on behalf of its client, a multinational company specializing in the power generation and electrical equipment manufacturing, for a Finance Manager in Bucharest Office.


Responsibilities:

Accounting function:


Prepare journal entries

Complete general ledger operations

Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements

Monthly reporting all the key accounting forms (TB, BS, PL. etc.) to HQ finance team


Tax function:


Prepare tax computations and returns and send to HQ finance team for review

Keeping abreast of changes in tax regulations and legislation

Keep good relationship with the local tax authorities

Deal with the tax audit, if any


Finance function:


Prepare analysis of accounts as requested

Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable

Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk

Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems

Review the contracts of the project from finance and tax perspective

Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting, if necessary


Management works in accordance with Admin:


Assist the superior to accomplish some administrative affairs, like meetings, event arrangements

Provide assistance for administration management if necessary


Candidate Profile:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business/Administration, Economics;

· At least 5 years of experience as a Finance Manager or similar role;

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and financial analysis techniques;

· Proficiency in Global ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills;

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities;

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;

· Preferably experience in a manufacturing environment, product costing knowledge, project accounting desirable, along with BOMs;

· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional international teams;

· Advanced knowledge of English language
