Do you like to work with administrative processes in human resource department within an international environment, at high standards?

 

We are “GDELS” - a Europe based business unit of General Dynamics Corporation, with products range from wheeled armored and tracked combat vehicles to amphibious bridges and ferry systems, with people all around the world relying on these systems and services – and we welcome you as HR Specialist, located in Bucharest!

 

To perform daily tasks, it is important that:

* you are able to finalize your tasks, work with details and follow the standards and legislation

* you take feedback into account and work independently or with other people in order to get the results

* you own a Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Law, Business administration/economics, or equivalent

* you know English – level B2 to C1; German language skills would be an advantage

* you work with SAP (HR module, SuccessFactors) and MsOffice (level 3 - Advanced Computing and Applications)

 

There is a great advantage if:

* you have at least 4 years in a similar position or in activities and responsibilities like those of HR, Labor law and payroll

* very good knowledge of human resources legislation and good practice

 

Here are your most important tasks, among others:

1/ you are responsible for the execution of all HR tasks such as concluding of the employment agreement, onboarding process, administration, time management, payroll, termination, performance assessment, training & development of local employees at GDELS-Romania

2/ you are point of contact and support for external partners such as auditors, authorities, support for employees and supervisors, and contact person for GDPR and internal communication

3/ you are support for HR Manager in the coordination and controlling of the employees (approx. 100+ employees) and ensure compliance with legislation and JV agreement from HR perspective

4/ you ensure the update of HR processes (recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employment and termination for the Romanian site, coordinates end of probationary period) and job descriptions whenever necessary

5/ you prepare reports, statistics, audits, specific to human resources activities

6/ you identify the quantity and quality of development measures for specialists and managers in collaboration with the department leaders (planning of courses, budget etc.)

7/ you are part of the implementation and maintenance process of an ERP/ SAP HR/ SuccessFactors systems and any other system according to the company’s digitalization strategy
