SoftServe's dynamic Cyber Security Operation Centre (CSOC) operates 24/7, focusing on monitoring, preventing, detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats. As the core of our cybersecurity strategy, the CSOC team collaborates to defend against cyberattacks while sharing expertise and offering on-demand consulting services.

IF YOU ARE

  • Strong in cybersecurity techniques and controls including SIEM, antivirus, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
  • Proficient in IT processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Access Management, and Vulnerability Management
  • Skilled in Information Security Risk Management including risk assessment and planning mitigation controls
  • Experienced in applying cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices such as ISO 27001/27002, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP SAMM
  • Fluent in ITIL framework and its implications for service development and information security
  • Familiar with software development lifecycle
  • Aware of main IT security concepts, tools, and techniques used to protect IT assets inside organizations including SOC, SIEM, EDR, IPS/IDS, SOAR
  • Competent in understanding the MITRE ATT and CK Framework
  • Effective as a communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Capable of operating proficiently in English at an Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level (nice to have)

  • Develop strong relationships with external customers, serving as a trusted security consultant
  • Coordinate and conduct thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
  • Design tangible action plans based on observed gaps and accumulated company experience
  • Perform detailed risk assessments, evaluating threats and documenting findings comprehensively
  • Propose practical solutions to mitigate identified cybersecurity risks effectively
  • Interact frequently with key executive stakeholders such as CISO, CTO, and CIO to communicate relevant security concerns and updates
  • Attend to customer requests diligently and track the status of implementations regularly
  • Prepare, maintain, and review various information security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistent compliance
  • Enhance security measures by preparing and maintaining essential documentation, including reports, dashboards, and other related metrics
  • Validate technical solutions from a security perspective to ensure they meet stringent security standards
