Client Description:

Adecco is looking for a Key Account Manager, for one of our clients - a dynamic and leading company in the FMCG industry, where you can drive impact and create meaningful results.

 

This role is integral to maintaining and developing categories and channels within the Customer Development function.


Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer acquisition team to enhance collaboration and achieve targets.
  • Monitor and analyze competitors' activities, sharing insights with the trade marketing team to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Evaluate and manage customers' financial health to ensure balance and profitability.
  • Conduct regular market visits, developing corrective actions in collaboration with customers, field sales teams, and other departments as required.
  • Develop and coordinate quarterly channel activity plans to align with overall business goals.
  • Confirm promotional activities, including product selections and discounts, for inclusion in special campaigns and leaflets.
  • Prepare and manage contractual and promotional credit notes based on agreed plans with clients and the trade marketing team.
  • Update and align the business plan monthly through Promo Plans and APR meetings, ensuring progress and adherence to goals.
  • Monitor stock levels and sales for the company’s brands, preparing actionable insights for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the GKAM to prepare for annual negotiations and business reviews, contributing to strategic planning.
  • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) set in alignment with GKAM standards to ensure accountability and success.



Candidate Profile:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial roles, showcasing strong negotiation skills and financial expertise.
  • Proven track record in market analysis, including tracking competitors and delivering actionable insights.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning capabilities, especially in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and effective decision-making.
  • Fluent in English, with advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Possession of a valid category B driving license.
