Our IoT group is building a team of systems thinkers passionate about IoT and solving socio-technical challenges. Currently, our team is dedicated to ensuring seamless integration and performance enhancements for clients' products.
IF YOU ARE
- Proficient in C programming
- Accustomed to Linux Build Systems (Yocto or Buildroot) and build toolchains
- Experienced in embedded systems, including building and/or using custom systems with custom kernels
- Strong in Linux as a user and its basic concepts: kernel, bootloader, drivers, modules, files, and daemons
- Familiar with networking protocols and concepts, including client-server communication, TCP/IP, and DHCP
- Knowledgeable in basic cryptography and PKI, including PKI, TLS, and CA
- Adept at architecting system-wide solutions across bootloader, kernel, and user-space
- Skilled in debugging Embedded Linux, including debugging the Kernel, monitoring logs, and connecting via serial cable (would be a plus)
- A practitioner of C++ (optional)
- Aware of cross-compilation between x64 and ARM (nice to have)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Operate on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of the client's products
- Collaborate with a team of system generalists to compile and integrate new OS and toolchain releases
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team
- Coordinate across teams (hardware, QA, product) to ensure delivery of integrated solutions
- Solve complex technical challenges and ensure high-quality performance
- Contribute to risk assessments and root-cause analyses of production issues
- Own project planning and effort estimation for embedded software features
- Integrate technical decision-making, including platform choices and security design
- Drive the definition of software architecture, CI/CD integration, and long-term maintainability
- Guide code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure coding standards are followed
