Role Description:

QA Team lead to work in global diverse company to lead all aspects of team activities and applies advanced testing knowledge of business requirements and software development lifecycles to design, implement and maintain tests of complex software solutions. 
 
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervises a team, allocates tasks to team members and co-ordinates work of other team members to efficiently implement the end-to-end testing in the software development process 

  • Manages and leads end-to-end testing delivery and activities in alignment with the organization quality standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs. 

  • Leads a wide range of quality control planning and execution activities in alignment with the organization’s standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs. 

  • Gathers testing requirements by evaluating the product requirement specifications (functional / non-functional) and raise clarifications with product owners and developers. 

  • Reviews and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technology strategy defined earlier. 

  • Identifies and implements suitable testing tools, frameworks, and techniques. 

  • Manage collaboration with multi-functional teams to understand the system architecture, and non-functional requirements. 

  • Lead and overview performance, load, stress, and failover testing. 

  • Develops, performs and maintains test scripts/cases autonomously– manual, automation, performance, and supporting analysis. 

  • Coordinates the ongoing maintenance of customer technologies, analyzes customer logs, ensuring all production issues are resolved on time 

  • Transfers knowledge/tools from the third-party vendor. 

 
 
 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required 

 

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent 

  • ISTQB Core Advanced/Test Management Certified or equivalent 

  • Exhibits Test Management and Line Management experience in manual, test automation and performance testing 

  • Proven experience in entire software development process, including Agile and Waterfall, software quality assurance and one programming language, preferably in multi-tiered applications. 

  • Ability to define and apply KPI and metrics for the QA function
