We are seeking an experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to join our product organization focusing on Ahold Delhaize’s customers and employees.
The primary goal of this role is to oversee UX/UI practices across projects, from product discovery to the handover to developers. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality designs while keeping the customer as the focal point.
Responsibilities
- Assess, research, and propose user-centric solutions
- Ideate, design, and document design propositions
- Present and advocate designs to Ahold Delhaize's brands for approval
- Drive the implementation of innovative solutions
- Ensure design compliance with AD’s guidelines by aligning with fellow designers from the design system
- Facilitate and participate in workshops to gather insights or address complex challenges
Requirements
- Demonstrable knowledge of design theory, principles, and best practices
- Prior experience in a lead role within a design team
- Expertise in Figma and Miro
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Proficiency in designing for responsive web and mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
- Experience in facilitating workshops
- Background in working closely with product managers and UX researchers
- Capability to effectively communicate and articulate design concepts
- Flexibility to adapt designs based on stakeholder feedback
- Strong command of the English language (C1+)
