Group Accounting Platform unit, within Data & Intelligence Area, is mainly focused in running and evolving Accounting and Regulatory Reporting applications over all UCG geographies. The unit manages over 50 applications and this hiring is aimed, in particular, at re-enforcing the capacity to manage AnaCredit application and Granular Finrep application. Both have European Banks of the Group as internal customers and BCE as external regulator to comply with. Both such applications are market Packages of Italian vendor Engineering, local leader in regulatory solutions for financial institutions
What you'll be doing
Key tasks and responsibilities:
The candidate will be in charge for both change and run activities end to end, which includes:
- interacting with UCG business functions of Accounting and Regulatory Reporting
- listening and understanding business needs, both operational or regulatory driven
- interacting with Engineering vendor to implement all regulatory updates
- installing and testing Engineering sw packages or patches within UGC architecture/infrastructure
- implementing customized solutions within UGC architecture/infrastructure
- providing the technical elements to support cost/effort estimations of new enhancements
- being aware of all regulatory reporting deadlines and supporting the delivery on time, including extra effort when needed
- promptly escalating issues to managerial lines
- taking care of the whole application life cycle including the compliance with all security standards requested by UCG
- supporting all technical governance tasks related to the applications
