Role Description:

Mobilise and drive selected projects within the 2025 FX Regulatory and Risk Portfolio

Key Responsibilities:

  • Swift Settlement Center Upgrade – Settlement Center
  • Mandate PB field in FXall Admin – Admin
  • Kaizen findings Remediation
  • Regulatory Reporting Controls Enhancements
  • Build, agree, socialise and run detailed end-to-end plans for 2025, gathering and documenting inter-dependencies between the deliverables.
  • Ensuring live service is not negatively impacted for the FX Business and Clients as project changes are rolled out.
  • Support existing or mobilise appropriate governance (SteerCos / Working Groups) to ensure there is transparency and accountability across the collaborator community.
  • Define and report on progress and achievement of key milestones.
  • Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and identify / address areas of concern.
  • Run issues and risks within this programme, raising as appropriate to the FX Theme and Markets Portfolio Boards.
  • Continually run dependencies, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of the key achievements.
  • Represent assigned projects at the FX Theme Board, providing the following updates:
    • Report on progress made and plans for the next reporting period.
    • RAG status
    • Return to Green plans
    • Key risks and issues.
    • Financial position
  • Handle the financials for assigned projects, i.e.:
    • Create and maintain the 2025 forecast
    • Track actuals and adjust accordingly to ensure projects remain within budget
  • Maintain Clarity, i.e.:
    • Achievements
    • Risks / Issues
    • Status updates
    • Cost plans
  • Create and maintain project artefacts for the workstream, ensuring compliance to LSEG’s Change Framework.
  • Providing support to the incumbent Programme and Project Managers, i.e.:
    • Assistance in the creation of Portfolio Board, Steering Committee and Working Group materials
    • Maintenance of milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
    • Creation and maintenance of cost plans in Clarity.
    • Creation of Change Requests to be ratified at the appropriate governance routine
    • Analysis of the accuracy of forecasting (forecast vs actuals) and adjusting to ensure projects remain within budget
    • Assistance with the creation and maintenance of Purchase Orders

Key Skills:

Essential

  • Previous experience (+3 years) in Project Management
  • Experience of developing, implementing and delivering projects in a highly matrixed and fast paced businesses
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including MS Project
  • Excellent at managing and influencing a wide network of collaborators
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial management, risk, and project management methodologies
  • Excellent documentation skills; ability to create high quality Working Group materials
  • Previous experience in managing cost plans
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Resilient – outcome and delivery focused with the ability to operate in a sophisticated environment
     

Desirable

  • A strong product knowledge of FX
  • Project Management qualifications, e.g. Prince2, PMP, etc.
  • Previous experience using Clarity
