Client Description:
Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for one of its clients, leader on the Romanian welding and cutting market, for a R&D&I Engineer- located in Buzau.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate in developing new products or improving existing ones
• Check samples of raw materials from import and from the country by executing test batches with them and establishes their behavior from a technological point of view;
• Establish the manufacturing technological parameters for each individual product;
• Discover the causes of potential anomalies in the technological process of manufacturing electrodes and tubular wires and propose measures to remedy them
• Make checks from the point of view of weldability, welding behaviour, mechanical characteristics and chemical composition, etc., for the electrode variants made at the pilot station, as well as for some types of special electrodes made in the factory
• Industrialize the new types of electrodes and tubular wires;
• Collaborate on the approval of welding filler materials;
• Prepare coded electrode recipes for the production department;
• Check the dosage cards;
• Prepare the supply specifications;
• Prepare product specifications for electrodes and tubular wires;
• Provide information with the characteristics that the finished product must meet, the type of tests that must be performed for each finished product, as well as the way these tests are performed by the quality control are specified;
• Prepare safety data sheets for finished products (electrodes and tubular wires);
• Respect the policy in the field of quality established by the General Manager;
• Respect the procedures of the quality system and the operational procedures specific to the service.
Candidate Profile:
· Advanced knowledge of English; fluent both spoken and written, with clear and concise communication
· Bachelor or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Materials Science or Mechanical / Production Engineering or relevant field
· Knowledge of chemicals, metallic materials, metallurgy, ceramics or similar
· Experiences from relevant industries in the areas of product engineering, development and/or manufacturing process
· Knowledge of Quality Management is a plus
· Knowledge of other European language(s) is a plus
