Client Description:

Adecco is looking for a Risk Analyst for one of our clients, a leading FMCG company. The Financial

Controlling team is responsible for accounting, reporting, risk management, and controls.

 

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact within a globally recognized FMCG company.


Responsibilities:

  • Proactively driving the risk management agenda by ensuring high-quality risk assessments and effective risk management practices.
  • Overseeing adherence to the Global Financial Controls Framework.
  • Conducting Financial Controls Assessments and liaising with external auditors.
  • Managing and improving Control Health Indicators to meet organizational targets.
  • Engaging with non-Finance teams to emphasize operational controls.
  • Identifying root causes of issues, addressing control weaknesses, and driving remediation efforts with relevant business leaders.
  • Acting as the Business Information Security Officer.
  • Ensuring Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans are in place.
  • Ensuring compliance with global and local policies.
  • Leading local control projects and coordinating internal audits.
  • Participating in and coordinating new initiatives from the Global Control and Audit Division (GCAD), including implementing new control frameworks.
  • Developing and delivering training to foster a risk and controls culture across the organization.
  • Aligning risk management practices with organizational goals and strategies.


Candidate Profile:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is a plus).
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management and controls.
  • SOX audit experience or prior controls experience in a SOX-compliant company.
  • Background in advisory or audit within a Big Four firm.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working with multicultural and multi-location teams.
  • Familiarity with risk management software, data analytics tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Ability to explain complex risk concepts in simple terms to non-technical audiences.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and challenges.
