IF YOU ARE

  • Experienced in big data engineering with a strong focus on AWS services and technologies
  • Proficient in Python for data processing and manipulation
  • Skilled in AWS services including S3, Lambda, SQS, OpenSearch, Kendra, Textract, and Bedrock
  • Knowledgeable in dbt for data transformation and containerization
  • Familiar with end-to-end chatbot applications based on client documents in different formats
  • Strong in AWS infrastructure, pipelines, Bedrock integration, and UI
  • Proficient in SQL with experience in Redshift or Spark SQL for querying and optimization
  • Excellent at problem-solving and troubleshooting complex data pipeline issues
  • Strong in communication and collaboration, working effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Comfortable with data visualization tools such as QuickSight (would be a plus)

AND YOU WANT TO

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data ingestion pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Airflow/MWAA, and Airbyte
  • Ensure efficient and reliable data transfer from various sources to the data warehouse
  • Lead efforts in migrating data and services across AWS accounts while ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining data integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to smoothly execute migration plans
  • Implement and manage access control mechanisms for Redshift and QuickSight
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards while developing IAM policies and roles to enforce least privilege access
  • Utilize Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of AWS infrastructure components such as S3 buckets, EMR clusters, and Redshift clusters, implementing infrastructure-as-code practices to achieve scalability and repeatability
  • Work closely with data engineers and analysts to integrate SQL-based technologies like dbt modeling and Python/PySpark scripts into data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility across the tech stack
