Client Description:
We are looking for a bright, customer centric, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. You will interface internally with leaders from our Retail and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for all aspects of the vendor’s business.
Responsibilities:
Establish long term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handled.
Partnering with the Retail Category Team and build successful communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors.
Build and execute on a joint business plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and client.
Conduct deep dive analysis on vendor issues and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience.
Success will be measured by the performance of your vendors on input metrics and impact on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers.
Conduct regular WBRs, MBRs with the vendors, highlight business metric performance and building action plans.
Candidate Profile:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English (C1) and German (B2+, C1 preferred) languages.
3-4 years of Account Management/Vendor Management
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different functional groups including senior business leaders, finance, HR and developers.
Proven track record of delivering results through others in an ambiguous, fast-paced/deadline-driven environment.
Previous experience in managing large-scale projects end-to-end with large teams involved.
Advanced knowledge in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required
5+ years of Account Management/Vendor Management
Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
Advanced negotiation skills
Master’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a similar program.
