We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join our dynamic development team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building secure and controlled solutions, analyzing requirements, and evaluating solutions against various criteria. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in C#, .Net technologies, and cloud-based services, coupled with a proficiency in Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and issues employing a range of techniques
- Evaluate multiple solutions against engineering, business, and strategic criteria
- Design solutions using common design patterns and tools
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure designs meet required standards and are re-usable
- Build solutions that are secure and controlled, adhering to industry best practices
- Develop and contribute to the design of new solutions
- Actively participate in all planning sessions assisting with task breakdown and estimation
- Configure CI software for automated testing and deployment of code
- Ensure adherence to test-driven development, Agile methodologies, and disciplined coding practices
- Work collaboratively in a strong team environment while fostering good interpersonal relationships
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in C#, .Net / .Net Core, IIS, and SQL Server
- Extensive knowledge of OO principles, MVC architecture, RESTful services, Web API, and Unit testing frameworks
- Expertise in AWS and other cloud-based services
- Understanding of financial concepts and strong analytical skills for requirement analysis, documentation, specification, and testing
- Background in configuring continuous integration (CI) software and deploying code
- Proficiency with Jira, Scrum, Kanban in an Agile environment
- Skills in SQL Server or equivalent SQL technologies
- Competency in the full software development lifecycle utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and capability to work as a strong team player
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies
- Proficiency in Unit Testing
