As a Senior Industrial Engineer in the P&E Innovation domain, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our planning and engineering processes through the deployment of cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise in project management and engineering solutions will directly support station and gateway operations, focusing on automation, process optimization, and advanced material handling systems. Acting as a technical leader, you will drive the development and implementation of innovative, end-to-end solutions that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency. Working with cross-functional teams and external vendors, you will manage complex projects involving technologies such as AI, IoT, and robotics, while providing ongoing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities:
· Proven experience in project management, including project planning, working in cross-functional environments, meeting fixed deadlines, tracking budgets, and delivering on targeted KPIs.
· Lead the end-to-end process of design (RFP/RFQ), vendor management, solution development, integration, implementation, installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of required material handling systems, equipment, or solutions.
· Manage project deliverables to meet deadlines, ensuring adherence to project timelines and minimizing delays.
· Provide technical expertise and ongoing support to cross-functional project teams as required.
· Utilize modelling tools to translate volumes and assumptions into accurate resource and productivity plans, identify process gaps, and focus on continuous improvement.
· Identify opportunities for automation, balancing cost versus benefit to calculate ROI for innovative solutions.
· Work with cutting-edge technologies and systems, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Machine Learning (ML), and more.
· Participate in the development of strategic plans, serving as the key subject matter expert for innovation.
· Communicate new plans to the Engineering management team, ensuring expertise on development and implementation support.
· Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in the marketplace related to innovation, identifying those that benefit the business.
· Act as a subject matter expert to Engineering management in cutting-edge technology, process optimization, and cost-saving tools and solutions.
· Work onsite with vendors to deploy solutions and actively monitor the progress and compliance of installed equipment and solutions, both during the project phase and the Business as Usual phase.
· Travel up to 50% of the time, depending on the project phase and business needs.
Candidate Profile:
· A degree or professional qualification in Industrial Engineering (preferred), Business, or a related technical discipline.
· Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
· Proven experience in project management, including project planning, working in cross-functional environments, meeting fixed deadlines, tracking budgets, and delivering on targeted KPIs.
· A creative thinker with the ability to recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
· Experience in developing and deploying solutions involving cutting-edge technologies related to innovation and addressing operational business challenges.
· Demonstrated ability to define, develop, and implement end-to-end projects based on business needs.

· Proven ability to work effectively with different cultures and nationalities in cross-functional environments.
· Ability to translate technical information and model outputs into user-friendly language and formats.
· Expertise in utilizing relevant tools, such as Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, to translate business needs into computerized models.
· Strong experience with analytical concepts and tools to solve complex problems and drive decision-making.
· Good financial awareness and understanding of cost-benefit analysis.
