SoftServe Robotics Group is expanding, you will collaborate with a team to deliver innovative solutions and improve automation systems.
IF YOU ARE
- An expert in Python programming, with at least 5 years of experience in software development
- A holder of an MSc or Ph.D. degree in computer science, aplied mathematics, robotics, or a related field
- Adept at developing, and implementing complex and efficient algorithms
- Proficient in control theory, particularly model-based control (MPC, MHE, LQG, Kalman filtering, decentralized control system analysis)
- Well-versed in mathematical optimization (NLP, QP, MILP)
- Experienced in first-principle and data-driven modeling techniques for dynamic systems
- Deeply knowledgeable in numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-oriented programming
- Familiar with AWS cloud services development
- Proficient with databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL)
- Comfortable with Unix (Linux) systems
- Proficient in testing, continuous integration, build & deployment, and monitoring of complex systems
- Highly attentive to detail, and analytically-minded
- A professional with solid mathematical foundation, and a problem-solving attitude
- A team player with great interpersonal/communication skills
- Fluent in English (upper-intermediate level, both spoken and written)

- Design and develop solutions for various types of robotic systems
- Build multiple rapid prototypes and refine them into production-ready solutions
- Test robotic solutions both in simulated environments and real-world scenarios
- Design automated robotic systems to enhance production efficiency and precision within specific industries
- Conduct ongoing research into the latest trends and modern approaches in the robotics domain (including navigation, sensing, decision-making, and the performance of robotic mechanisms and systems)
