As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Data and Document Migration projects, as well as the development and implementation of data governance and data quality solutions to ensure customer success. This role will require close collaboration with clients and the fme delivery team on data-related projects to achieve the required internal and external outcomes.

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team at FME Romania, who will be directly responsible to:

  • Lead and provide direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that all assigned projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications. This includes leading client-facing meetings with technical lead support;
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end project management activities for assigned projects, including but not limited to project status reporting (including financial KPIs), project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client and contractor management, relationship management, and other project documentation preparation for projects of high business complexity (involving multiple systems interfaces that are highly visible to the organization);
  • Present periodic project status presentations to the C-suite and PMO;
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of the assigned technical personnel while ensuring all consultants are actively working toward established milestones;
  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects;
  •  Provide feedback to the technical team as it aligns with technical challenges to address impact on project timeline and be able to accurately relay this information to the client and involve management when necessary;
  • Coordinate between the customer, business analysis team, and technical delivery team;
  • Define and manage the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure;
  • Manage and resolve risks, issues, and dependencies, making appropriate use of communication channels and escalation levels;
  • Adhere to the ISO 9001: Quality Management standard and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with Business Solution deployments leveraging Enterprise Content Services platforms for clients in the Life Sciences Industry;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Technical Project Manager;
  • Consulting experience;
  • PMP certification preferred;
  • Previous Documentum, Generis, Veeva, SharePoint, IT and or Migration Project Projects experience;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work independently but also collaborate effectively with the team, leadership, and clients;
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.

It would be a great plus if you have:

  • Experience in the Life Science (pharma) industry or consulting (R&D and Q&M business processes);
  • Experience in document/data migration projects especially with Enterprise Content Management Systems (SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText, Box, Documentum, Generis, Veeva).
