We are expanding our Design & Build team so we seek to hire enthusiastic professionals in the field of Construction Site Management to support the construction building and maintenance of our expanding stores chain in Europe. They must be highly energetic, with an extreme focus on details and fully dedicated to their work, thus enabling the luxury experience of TEILOR. As Site Manager you will support and coordinate the work on construction sites, making sure it’s completed safely, on time and within budget. You will never get bored since no two days will ever be the same. You’ll liaise with architects, surveyors and builders to ensure a project is on track and there are enough staff, machinery and materials to get the job done.
About the role:
Responsible for coordinating all site works within a forecasted time schedule provided by business.
Lead communication with Landlord SPOC on site, Team Members, Contractors and any other party involved with the project delivery
Ownership on the material purchasing and logistic streams for dedicated items important for site works continuity. (We have a dedicated procurement specialist, however initiating and monitoring action to schedule is the end-to-end responsibility of the Site Project Manager)
Provide daily schedule updates and weekly forecasts in advance whenever necessary
Supervise construction workers and hiring subcontractors (when necessary)
Locally source short-lead material items for work execution
Coordinate internal resources for construction works
Monitor built costs and project progress.
Monitor execution against designs
Conduct quality and safety inspections
Check and prepare site reports, site drawings, sketches, site surveys
Red flag any inaccuracies site against project
Maintain quality control check
Motivating the workforce.
Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
Working on-site, at the locations of the new stores (usually in commercial shopping areas or high streets, during day time or night time).
About you:
You have graduated Construction Faculty Studies (Civil Engineering or similar field); you may also have a degree in Architecture or Engineering and you have at least 4 years experience in coordinating a construction team on site - mandatory
Other important traits required:
Knowledge of building and construction
Excellent time management and leadership skills
You won’t rest until you get the work done and have a persistent desire to learn and develop yourself
Verbal communication skills
You are proactive, energetic and absolutely love this job! You like working in team and always willing to help. Last but not least, you enjoy having fun with your teammates and sometimes like telling jokes
Availability for travel and work on site, in Romania or abroad, together with the team.
