Social Media Manager
This role is responsible for managing and growing our online community across various social media platforms. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a creative flair, dedicated to fostering relationships and building brand loyalty. Our future colleague will craft concise and creative posts and campaigns aligned with the brand’s voice, driving engagement and targeting our audiences.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Communication & Customer Experience teams to create comprehensive social media strategies to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness. Develop content calendars, campaigns, and strategies that align with brand objectives, target audience preferences, and industry trends.
- Collaborate and manage the third parties involved in the process (agencies, collaborators, influencers, etc.).
- Tailor messaging and tone to fit the unique characteristics of each social media platform and audience segment while maintaining brand consistency.
- Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling copy for social media posts, captions, ads, and other content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.
- Write compelling calls-to-action (CTAs) and headlines to drive user engagement, clicks, and conversions.
- Proofread and edit copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Work closely with graphic designers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of copy and visuals for cohesive storytelling.
- Monitor and report analytics on social media channels; pay attention to conversations, trends, and opportunities to engage with our audience in a timely and meaningful manner.
- Follow social media trends, emerging technologies, industry news, competitor activities, best practices, and platform updates to drive innovation in content creation and community growth.
- Collaborate and mentor our Social Media Specialist to monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and optimize content strategies based on insights and results.
Requirements (must have):
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Social Media Community Manager/Content Writer/Copywriter or in a similar role (employed or freelancer) demonstrating successful community engagement strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and analytics with a strong understanding of best practices for community management.
