In the role of Software Asset Manager (SAM), you will be responsible for the efficient and strategic management of software within the organization. The primary goal of this role is to optimize the use of software licenses, ensure compliance with policies, and reduce costs associated with software acquisition and maintenance.

We will appreciate if you have knowledge of IT operational processes, software license management solutions, banking products, specific BNR regulations, and banking systems and applications.


Your responsibilities will be to:

  1. Maintain the inventory of licenses, users, and applications and ensure the quality of this information in accordance with the KPIs defined in the SW Asset Management process.
  2. Run periodic compliance checks to ensure that software applications are being used in accordance with licensing conditions.
  3. Propose solutions for optimizing the use of software licenses.
  4. Collect and provide information that may be required during software vendor audits.
  5. Ensure that SW Asset Management is appropriately integrated with other IT processes.
  6. Conduct regular audits of SW Asset Management to ensure that it remains accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  7. Develop and manage metrics and reports for SW Asset Management.
  8. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that SW Asset Management supports other IT processes and initiatives.
  9. Provide training and support for SW Asset Management to IT staff and other stakeholders as necessary.
  10. Coordinate audit points related to SW Asset Management.
  11. Resolve audit points related to the activity for which he/she is responsible.
  12. Perform any other tasks related to the natural flow of activity and the mission of the position.


Job qualifications and requirements:

  1. A higher education degree.
  2. Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL).
  3. Advanced PC skills (Microsoft Office, Query utilities, Power Point, ServiceNow).
  4. Advanced level of English language proficiency.
  5. Good analytical and information structuring skills.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
