Raiffeisen Bank is extending the development team in Agile Delivery Corporate & Investment Banking!

We are building end-to-end software products using Agile Methodology for 2 Business Divisions in Raiffeisen Bank Romania. We are specialists in developing solutions for Corporate Lending, Corporate Cash Management, Trade Finance, Corporate Online Transactions, FOREX transactions & many more. Currently we are in the process of enlarging our DevOps team for covering all the solutions that sustain Capital Markets & Investment Banking business.

What do we do? 💻

Developing software products based on requirements of course J, but not only:

·Understand and, if needed, challenge the requirements from business

·Actively participate in agile ceremonies, software detail design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance and launching into production phases.

·Build Java-based applications that cover all the basic architectural principles starting from high-volume & low-latency systems to critical systems in a high-availability environments

·Contribute with the rest of the team to continuous improvements of the development process

·We are big fans of the quote “We build it, we run it!”. As you can imagine, that means we are DevOps fans, and this can be translated in building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines

·L2/L3 support for live applications

What are we looking for? 🔎

·Install, configure, maintain and upgrade our applications

·Work with external parties (IT vendors or Raiffeisen International IT) to install, configure, maintain, and upgrade our applications infrastructure

·Develop and maintain scripts for automation (for CI/CD pipelines, operational activities etc.) 

·Provide support in application development and testing troubleshooting.

·Investigate and resolve incidents / requests relating to applications and escalate irresolvable faults / issue to relevant vendors / suppliers where appropriate 

·Maintain operational documentation for existing applications and platforms.

·Patch & resolve vulnerabilities for applications and platforms.

1. Responsible person for ensuring that engineering best practices are adhered to
2. Responsible person for technical design documentation
3. Quick learner and highly motivated to keep himself/herself abreast with latest technologies
4. Good communication skills (Must)

Required skill set

·Hands-on skills in Linux & Windows Operating Systems

·Experience with web application servers (WebSphere / JBoss) and load balancers (any of: F5, Nginx, Apache), databases (any of: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).

·Hands-on experience with several of: Ansible, Shell scripting, Python, Groovy, Jenkins

·Web Services : API Management, SOAP , REST , JSON, XML

·Message queueing and streaming technologies (Kafka, IBM MQ, SQS)

·Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting technologies (ELK stack and Dynatrace preferred).

·Knowledge of building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

·Strong written and verbal communication in English.

·Experience in an Agile environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence

·Some technical certifications would be awesome!
