Client Description:
Adecco is looking for a Sustainability Specialist, for one of its clients - a leading discount retailer, specializing in a wide range of affordable products across various categories (including household goods, toys, décor, and DIY tools).
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the company's sustainability strategies.
- Monitoring and evaluating the organization's sustainable performance.
- Identifying, collecting, and analyzing data related to the company's ESG performance and associated risk factors; assessing potential environmental, social, and governance risks that could impact the company.
- Collaborating with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into all operational aspects.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the company's social and environmental impact.
- Regularly reporting progress to company management and other stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining efficient systems for monitoring ESG performance and providing regular reports to management and stakeholders.
- Utilizing analytical tools and methodologies to model and identify potential ESG risks and their impact on the company.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the company’s ESG strategies and policies.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in sustainability or corporate social responsibility.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and standards.
- Advanced English level.
