ORTEC Hosting Operations Center unit is looking for full-time System Engineer that will support all hosted platforms. You will be part of a team who offers support for more than 300 international customers that are using ORTEC products as SaaS and managing over 3000 servers in a cloud environment.
This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
You will have the opportunity to bring your expertise and make the difference in this area by proposing new solutions and improvements that will drive to a better platform performance, efficiency and stability.
What you do:
- Deployment of new infrastructure servers and services;
- Working with automations and scripts;
- Involved in more complex incidents/malfunctions investigation for provided hosting services;
- Responsible for handling technical cases using internal ticketing system and keep track of these issues during the whole resolution process;
- Creates and applies the change request processes;
- Conducts root cause analyses for incidents and signals any improvement requirements;
- Being involved in periodical tests (Disaster Recovery, back-up and restore solutions);
- Create solution documentation. Apply and maintain up to date installation and configuration procedures;
- Used to follow ISO27001 and ITIL recommendations;
- Sharing knowledge, provide technical guidance and helps other colleagues.
You have:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a large enterprise, client-server environment;
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT domain;
- Microsoft Windows administration environment (server installation and roles configuration) and advanced knowledge with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Knowledge on access from anywhere (remote desktop services)
- Microsoft Azure cloud environment experience (virtual machines administration, automation accounts, resource groups and storage accounts and Azure virtual networks)
- Administration and monitoring of security solutions like Antivirus, Firewall;
- Experience with environment security and vulnerability and penetration testing;
- Good network knowledge like switching, routing, VPN technologies;
- Good analytical mind, conceptually and solution-oriented thinking;
- Pro-active, service minded, “get-it-done” personality;
- Good written and verbal English skills;
- A real team player;
- Able to work on-call shifts rotation;
Nice to have:
- Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting, Json or other equivalent scripting languages (create and maintain scripts to eliminate manual efforts and automate server administration)
- Expertise with cloud environments and architectures;
- MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, Azure certifications;
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools;
- High-Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures;
- Linux administration experience.
