The ︀︋︇️︄︊︉︋​︂︆︄︄​︁︁︎︌​︈︂︇︍​︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎mission of the new team:

  • receiving calls directly from customers in the consumer market;
  • promote and sell telecommunications products and services;
  • develop and maintain a relationship of trust with customers in order to retain this customer base and maximize the company's income;
  • contact current and potential clients of the company for canvassing and solicitation purposes;


What we expect from the new joiners:

  • advanced French & English knowledge: you will interact with Canadian customers, so any previous experience with Quebec French will be welcomed;
  • availability for a full-time schedule, in shifts covering 5 days/week, Monday - Sunday;
  • availability for working on late & night shifts, in rotation covering 15:00 - 03:00 a.m.;
  • previous customer service or sales experience is desired;
  • solutions driven attitude with strong communications skills;
  • strong customer service orientation;
  • desire to learn more about the product/service in order to better assist customers;
  • ability to recognize and act on profitable business opportunities;
  • demonstrated ability to negotiate skillfully, even in challenging situations, seeking a balance between client and business needs;
  • flexibility and self motivation in dealing with rapidly changing priorities and work volumes;

A day in the life of a Telecom Sales & Operations Specialist:

  • directly receives calls from customers in the ︁︀​︂︃︃​︉︉​︁︂︈consumer market for everything related to service requests, removals, modifications and miscellaneous information;
  • promotes and sells telecommunications products and services (long distance, telephone and internet) and provides sound advice to customers in order to adequately meet their expectations, establish a relationship of trust and meet the revenue objectives of the company;
  • makes sure to meet the performance indicators set by the company, mainly in terms of sales volume, response rate, number of calls answered and / or generated and others, in order to safeguard the quality of service and meet sales targets;
  • deals with, negotiates and concludes the agreement with the client and ensures that it complies with the company's business rules, applicable conditions, procedures and recommendations established and dictated by regulatory affairs and / or the marketing;
  • maintains and develops at all times an attitude of service to customers by establishing positive and professional relationships with external and internal customers, by providing quality service, help, information and advice to ensure their satisfaction and thus promote retention of customers;
  • demonstrates conviction and presents all the appropriate arguments to customers wishing to abandon services and / or leave the company in order to safeguard the company's income and minimize losses to competition;
  • contacts current and potential customers for canvassing and solicitation purposes, either by telephone, by direct contact or by correspondence, with a view to making the product and service offer of the company in order to generate revenue;
  • prepares and issues most of the documents relating to a sale, modification or removal of service, such as service orders, according to the procedures and policies in force, in order to allow the optimal processing of the transaction to the satisfaction of the customer;
  • maintains constantly up-to-date knowledge of the products and services offered, business rules and procedures to be applied, customer relationship techniques as well as sales techniques in order to provide optimal performance;
  • assists various groups by providing them with all the useful and necessary information from the files at their disposal while respecting the confidentiality of information;
