Porsche Engineering is an innovative engineering services provider for future-oriented mobility, developing a wide range of engineering solutions for the automotive industry and beyond. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the sports car manufacturer Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, part of the wider Volkswagen Group.
The holding company Porsche Engineering Group GmbH is headquartered at the Porsche AG Research and Development Center in Weissach (Germany). Operating for customers world-wide, Porsche Engineering has subsidiaries in locations in key locations such as: Weissach, Bietigheim-Bissingen, Wolfsburg and Leipzig (Germany), Prague and Ostrava (Czech Republic), Shanghai and Beijing (China), Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara (Romania), Nardò (Italy), and Los Angeles (USA).
The solutions developed by Porsche Engineering range from the conception of individual components and the design of complex modules to the planning and implementation of complete developments, including production start-up management. Porsche Engineering Romania, with its R&D offices in Cluj-Napoca and Timișoara, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Porsche Engineering Group GmbH and therefore firmly integrated in the global network of Porsche Engineering.
Our mission at Porsche Engineering Romania revolves around contributing to the development of intelligent and connected vehicles of the future.
