I had two interviews online which went well, around 90 min each. I enjoyed answering their questions, getting to know the company and the future possible team. I instantly liked them. They invited over to the office for the third interview to meet the Co-Founder and COO. From the first moment she shook my hand, I instantly felt she didn’t ‘approve’ . The interview lasted almost 2h, she asked me about every single job I had, line by line from my cv… I’m 38, I worked in several countries and she was the first interviewer to do this. I had no issue with it. It seemed that no matter what I said, she didn’t like what she heard and yet, we stayed for 2h. After 5 days they decided I have too much ‘international experience’… thing that was relevant from the first moment I applied to the job itself. I have the most respect for the people working there, seems they are great and hard working. The COO that interviewed me though…. no. A woman interviewing another woman in Romania, it’s never a ‘fair game’, seemed personal for me from the first second.
