Client Description:
Adecco permanent recruitment is looking for an experienced finance professional with a track record of accurate and consistent management of general ledgers for one of it’s international partner in the Travel Industry.
Responsibilities:
· As a key finance business partner to our leadership team you will deliver financial and management data to them each month to support them to make data led strategic decisions that support the Group’s growth ambitions and help to guide the business through the financial year end.
· Responsible for the timely delivery of the month end process, with the support of your team members.
· Prepare the monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and cashflow forecasts of each entity in the Group.
· Prepare the consolidated monthly management accounts of the Group including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
· Responsible for the accurate recording and documentation of intercompany transactions including trade, services, trademarks & IP and loan movements, and the intercompany matrix.
· Support the day-to-day financial operations including handling queries from AP and AR.
· Support the Finance leadership team in the year-end close process, including the preparation of statutory financial statements, and year-end tax requests.
· Support the Finance leadership team with preparing financial analysis to support business growth, investment and trade off decisions.
· Support the Finance leadership team in the preparation of the budget and regular financial forecasts.
· Produce or liaise with external partners to create direct tax (GST/VAT) reports and returns in a timely and compliant manner with tax authorities in each country.
· Act as a role model and support your team members in their professional development to help create and maintain a highly efficient, accurate and productive team.
· Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
· Support the Finance leadership team on compliance with any appropriate financial and regulatory or covenants.
· Support the Finance leadership team to develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls environment.
· Deputise for the Finance leadership team when they are on leave.
· Other project and activity as deemed appropriate to support the success of the finance function.

What we imagine you’ll have....
· A practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques
· Part or fully qualified in a professional accounting qualification
· 2+ years of experience in a similar role
· Solid knowledge of standard accountancy and finance best practices
· Solid IT skills, including proficiency in the relevant accounting packages
· An understanding of tax codes and laws
· Analytical skills to effectively analyse financial reports
· Knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting
