Your role:
- Develop, test, and deploy API Proxies on the Apigee platform to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with senior developers and architects to design API specifications and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for API security, versioning, and documentation.
- Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining technical documentation for all API solutions.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on new Apigee features and API development trends.
Your profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- API Development: Basic understanding of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and JSON/XML data formats.
- Apigee Platform: Knowledge of Apigee API Gateway and core concepts such as proxy development, policies, and analytics.
- Programming Languages: Familiarity with JavaScript and Python (other relevant languages are a plus).
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases for data integration within APIs.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, SAML, or JWT.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for deployment automation.
