Our client is the second-largest supermarket chain in the UK, with a 15% market share and over 1,400 stores. SoftServe’s team supports the Data Tech Supply Chain & Logistics, optimizing stock management and operational efficiency through data-driven solutions.
The project enhances the Enterprise Data Warehouse by integrating new data sources into Snowflake, using Data Vault 2.0 and dbt GRID for efficient data transformation.
IF YOU ARE
- A Senior Data Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence
- Proficient in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data warehousing
- Skilled in SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and Data Vault 2.0 methodology
- Experienced in data pipeline design and data integration from multiple sources
- Knowledgeable in Airflow, Kafka, AWS, and Azure
- Strong in data governance, data quality management, and business process optimization
- Excellent in stakeholder management, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams
- Familiar with retail, supply chain, or logistics domains (a plus)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements
- Define and document business logic, KPIs, and metrics to support BI and reporting initiatives
- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency across different sources and platforms
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement efficient data pipelines in Snowflake
- Aid data transformations using Data Vault 2.0, dbt, and SQL ETL/ELT
- Support dashboard and report development to provide actionable business insights
- Drive process automation to improve operational efficiency and decision-making
