For our business partner, one of the largest integrators of IT and physical security solutions for national and European critical infrastructure, we are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst Lead.
In this role you will be coordinating a team of Business Analysts to ensure timely project delivery and balanced task distribution.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bucharest.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate a team of Business Analysts, ensuring tasks are distributed evenly and projects are delivered on time.
- Supervise the process of gathering and documenting business requirements from users and stakeholders.
- Provide support and mentorship to the team, guiding members in defining functional specifications and creating necessary documentation.
- Facilitate communication between the business and technical teams, ensuring that developed solutions meet business requirements.
- Review and validate the technical and functional specifications proposed by the team.
- Analyze the impact of business changes on existing systems and processes.
- Actively participate in project team meetings, contributing to the definition of project roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with software development methodologies and standards throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous process improvement.
- Prepare periodic reports on project progress and identified risks.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with at least 2+ years in managing Business Analysts teams.
- Solid experience in software solutions analysis and modeling.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with Java applications and other backend technologies (preferred).
- Ability to work closely with software development teams, understanding technical language.
- Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate the activities of Business Analysts.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of an organization to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Analytical and detail-oriented thinking.
- Ability to solve complex problems and make quick decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
