Role Description:

Supports the Director of Business Operations, wider business management team and relevant team member(s) of the Technology Management Team in running BAU activities such as raising purchase orders and sending statements of work for signing.

Works alongside a team of Business Managers within the wider COO function for Markets Engineering. Will collaborate across the organisation in key corporate functions such as Finance and HR. Will have the opportunity to gain a wide range of skills and exposure to the Markets division of LSEG. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the wider Business management team with the following activities:
    • Resource management – raising Statements of work for signing, onboarding new suppliers, raising Purchase Orders in Oracle and user access in IGI. Liaising with the procurement teams and hiring managers where required.
    • Invoice management – receipting and managing invoice queries. Including chasing account teams and liaising with suppliers where required.
    • Budget – supporting the Business Management team with cost report maintenance and tracking of budgets.
    • Resource Management – supporting the Business Management team with processing of headcount reports and changes to data.
    • Input into Board materials, Townhalls presentations and other ad hoc presentations where required.
    • Input into management information; tracking and reporting on critical metrics where required.
    • Support with delivering communication agenda, tracking against plans and management of communication channels within Markets Engineering
    • Support the Early careers programmes across the division through tracking of events, tasks and engagement.
    • Produce and maintain key team documentation such as organisational charts and internal web pages.

Required Skills:

  • Good collaborator
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Background in Business management or operations role
