Client Description:
Adecco is recruiting a Department Manager for a store, part of an international fashion company with approximately 160 stores in 16 countries across Europe.
Responsibilities:
The Department Manager will be overseeing the activity of their sales team in store, the visual displays and the sales strategy.
- Overseeing daily operations within your department to ensure sales targets are met and exceeded.
- Leading, motivating, and developing your team to provide excellent customer service and meet performance goals.
- Managing stock levels, analyzing sales trends, and coordinating with visual merchandisers to optimize product displays.
- Ensuring high standards of store presentation and maintaining a clean, organized, and appealing shopping environment.
- Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, performance reviews, and reporting on sales and department performance.
- Resolving customer issues and handling escalations in a professional and efficient manner.
- Working closely with store management to execute seasonal promotions, campaigns, and events.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team towards achieving sales targets.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
