In this hybrid role, you'll ensure the finance payroll process meets the compliance, internal and external audit requirements and the process targets. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Team leadership and development: Lead and motivate a team of 3 finance professionals, ensuring the team consistently meets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Provide monthly performance feedback and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Compliance and audit: Ensure that the finance payroll process adheres to compliance requirements, including internal and external/statutory audit standards. This includes preparing for and assisting with audits and ensuring payroll balance sheet accounts are accurately reconciled in line with accounting standards.
- Collaboration and issue resolution: Act as point of contact between the European Finance Payroll Sr. Manager, Payroll team and external payroll providers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any finance payroll-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- Payroll financial reporting and reconciliation: oversee the preparation and review of payroll balance sheet accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of payroll P&L accounts, as well as ensuring compliance with local tax, pension, and payroll regulations.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Language skills – English (required)
- Extensive knowledge of the finance payroll processes and the regulatory requirements around them and across Europe
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and attention to detail
- University Degree in economics or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel and SAP
