We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Data Integration Engineer to join our team, focused on merging and modeling data from various source systems to our target customer systems. Our goal is to streamline the migration process of M&A business data into our owned technology, ensuring efficient and time-effective data integration. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading our migration squads through complex data integration processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze source systems and establish connectors for effective data extraction
- Perform initial data loads and manage delta loads through several migration iterations
- Utilize tools such as Fivetran and SFTP for data ingestion and acquisition
- Ingest data into Databricks, overseeing any necessary augmentation or corrections of Master Data
- Facilitate the end-to-end process of data integration from source systems like various databases, Excel spreadsheets, and APIs to target systems such as Salesforce and Marketo
- Lead and coordinate activities of migration squads to ensure alignment with migration strategy and timelines
- Monitor data quality, validate data accuracy and perform data augmentation as required
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data integration processes and data models
- Continuously improve and optimize data integration practices and procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data integration or a related field
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in data ingestion tools such as Fivetran and SFTP
- Expertise in managing and manipulating data within Databricks
- Knowledge of source systems including various databases, Excel spreadsheets, APIs, file storages, chat data, and video/audio data
- Familiarity with target systems such as Salesforce, People XD and Marketo
- Strong analytical skills including data analysis, data quality assessments, and data validation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

- Background in Azure DevOps
- Experience in data augmentation
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling techniques
- Ability to innovate and improve data integration methodologies
