Client Description:
Adecco Human Resources is recruiting a Material Planner with German for our client, Alstom, an industrial group active in the field of electricity production and transport and railway infrastructure, which offers from high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signaling and digital mobility.
Responsibilities:
You'll manage our client’s portfolio of external suppliers for ensuring goods delivery at right time to ensure production continuity.
You’ll specifically take care of expressing delivery needs to suppliers, but also monitor Supplier's performances KPI's while putting in place corrective actions.
· Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for projects;
· Participate/lead to Supplier's performance improvement (animation);
· Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) & respective Source List;
· Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions;
· Maintain a routine with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries;
· Analyse and manage MRP (Material Requirement/Resource Planning) exception messages and anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand);
· Maintain delivery dates in ERP system;
· Track missing parts until stock availability;
· Ensure non-conformities replacement;
· Resolve Receiving issues (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, etc.).
Candidate Profile:
· Degree level qualification;
· Good knowledge of procurement and supply chain;
· 2-5 years’ experience in a relevant position;
· Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP;
· Fluency in English and German;
· Good communication, collaboration and analytical skills, initiative and autonomy;
· Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment;
· Ability to manage and prioritize own workload.
