As Network Engineer you will be responsible to support senior network engineers to interface the Banks in the group, understand business needs and translate them into technical requirement supporting in defining plan, time and costs. Part of your job will be as well to follow projects for a successful delivery.
What you'll be doing
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Design network solutions to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to align network infrastructure with organizational goals and standards.
- Support network-related projects, including upgrades and new implementations.
- Document network project and architecture.
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent proved experience.
- 4+ years of experience in network engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of network architecture, technology and protocols.
- Experience with network hardware topic (SLA, RMA, maintenance, etc.) including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- If necessary available to support occasional night work and short-term missions among Europe
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are preferred.
- Fluent English
Represent a plus:
- Knowledge of SDN like NSX, ACI, Apstra, etc…
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies.
- Italian language
