THE SCOPE

As part of this sustained growth, Gaming1 is seeking a Payments Operations Coordinator to join our Payments & Operations team. This new role will report to the Payments Operations Manager and will play a key role in optimizing and managing relationships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs), ensuring seamless payment operations across the company. The team is central to Gaming1’s success, ensuring that our payment systems remain robust, compliant, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for building strong relationships, a passion for operational excellence, and an ability to drive performance in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

YOUR ROLE

As the Payments Operations Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships with Payment Service Providers and vendors:
    • Building strong and positive partnerships with key contacts at PSPs.
    • Supporting the evaluation, selection, and integration of PSPs.
    • Monitoring performance to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Overseeing contracts and Service Level Agreements:
    • Negotiating terms, pricing, and performance metrics in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
    • Regularly reviewing contracts and initiating renegotiations when necessary.
    • Maintaining a global contract matrix and monthly cost overviews.
  • Facilitating PSP onboarding:
    • Conducting due diligence and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborating with internal teams for smooth integration and maintenance.
  • Coordinating training and incident management:
    • Assessing training needs and organizing sessions with PSPs.
    • Ensuring prompt resolution of incidents in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Managing access rights for PSP back offices:
    • Developing and enforcing access policies, defining user roles, and maintaining account integrity.
  • Reporting and documentation:
    • Maintaining accurate records of interactions, agreements, and performance metrics.
    • Generating analytical reports to support decision-making and highlighting pain points.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the payments industry, ideally within the gambling sector.
  • Strong knowledge of payment operations and compliance regulations (AML, KYC, GDPR).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in reporting tools and Excel.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a collaborative spirit.
