Role Description:

 

The Senior Project Manager in End User Services is responsible for leading and delivering specific technical infrastructure projects that align with LSEG's strategic direction. The projects involve multiple stakeholders, complex requirements, and large-scale outcomes. The Senior Project Manager handles project planning, governance, risk management, financial management, and communications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads technical transformation projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies and ensures adherence to governance and risk management standards.
  • Works closely with Finance to align and track project budget and savings, and ensures the project meets the success criteria and business benefits stated in the Business Case and/or PID.
  • Represents the project in various governance and inter-department forums and serves as a subject matter authority and a senior project management community member.
  • Leads sophisticated, large-scale and/or high-risk projects that involve multiple senior internal and external partners and prioritises high impact deadlines and activities.
  • Defines and reports on project progress and achievement of project breakthroughs, and updates key partners on project status and issues.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Ability to balance multiple projects, flexibility, responsiveness, stakeholder management, risk management, and end-to-end accountability.
  • Continual reassessment of operational and project level risks, mitigation of delivery risks, and escalation of issues where necessary.
  • Drive, passion, planning, interpersonal, mentor, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Authoritative knowledge of financial management, risk, and project management methodologies, and more than 10 years of project or programme experience onshore and 5 offshore.
  • Global experience, working with teams in multiple locations simultaneously, and experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations.
  • Background in working across several different sectors both business and IT related projects/programmes, and technologies in the End User Services product space.
