Responsibilities:
· Supporting/leading quality process improvement initiatives and compliance programs across FedEx operations.
· Acting as a subject matter expert with regular interaction across departments and with various levels of the organization, including senior management and directors.
· Playing a critical role in developing and maintaining quality management systems, including ISO adherence and compliance.
· Facilitating Customer audits across FedEx locations to meet regulatory requirements
· Performing CEIV and GDP compliance audits
· Implementation of quality agreements for strategic customers
· Performing validation of vendors and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
· Assessing and analysing complex problems to deliver actionable solutions and identifying opportunities for process or system improvements.
· Developing and implementing corrective and preventative action plans.
· Leading the Enterprise Quality Management System (EQMS) initiatives.
· Managing document control processes and ensuring proper documentation of quality procedures.
· Participating in program and project management activities related to quality and compliance.
· Providing technical expertise and ongoing support to cross-functional project teams as required.
· Keeping abreast of emerging quality management methodologies and compliance regulations relevant to the logistics industry.
Candidate Profile:
· Degree or professional qualification in Quality Management or a related field.
· Work experience of 5-10 years in quality management and compliance, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
· IATA Audit, Quality & Risk Management for Temp controlled Cargo Qualification
· ISO9001 Lead Auditor Qualification
· Excellent command of English, French, Italian & German both written and spoken.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize improvement opportunities.
· Experience in developing solutions to operational business challenges.
· Good understanding of the business environment and how strategy is translated into quality-focused solutions.
· Experience in presenting scenarios and recommendations to management.
· Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, Word, MS Project, MasterColtrol).
· Strong auditing skills and experience in conducting process and procedure audits.
· Good financial awareness and understanding of the impact of quality initiatives on business performance.
· Strong project management and change management skills to successfully deploy quality improvement projects.
· Analytical thinking with the ability to apply quality concepts and tools to problem-solving in a pragmatic way.
· Result and target-oriented, with the ability to set priorities and get things done in a fast-paced environment.
· Flexible approach towards work and willingness to travel.
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
· Excellent planning and organizing skills.
· Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
· Flexibility to travel the whole European region on a regular basis
