Client Description:
Adecco is looking for a Risk Analyst for one of our clients, a leading FMCG company. The Financial
Controlling team is responsible for accounting, reporting, risk management, and controls.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively driving the risk management agenda by ensuring high-quality risk assessments and effective risk management practices.
- Overseeing adherence to the Global Financial Controls Framework.
- Conducting Financial Controls Assessments and liaising with external auditors.
- Managing and improving Control Health Indicators to meet organizational targets.
- Engaging with non-Finance teams to emphasize operational controls.
- Identifying root causes of issues, addressing control weaknesses, and driving remediation efforts with relevant business leaders.
- Acting as the Business Information Security Officer.
- Ensuring Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans are in place.
- Ensuring compliance with global and local policies.
- Leading local control projects and coordinating internal audits.
- Participating in and coordinating new initiatives from the Global Control and Audit Division (GCAD), including implementing new control frameworks.
- Developing and delivering training to foster a risk and controls culture across the organization.
- Aligning risk management practices with organizational goals and strategies.
Candidate Profile:
- A qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is a plus).
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management and controls.
- SOX audit experience or prior controls experience in a SOX-compliant company.
- Background in advisory or audit within a Big Four firm.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience working with multicultural and multi-location teams.
- Familiarity with risk management software, data analytics tools, and reporting platforms.
- Ability to explain complex risk concepts in simple terms to non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and challenges.
