We are in search of a dynamic and visionary Sales Director to become an integral member of our business team's partner, a publishing company, which is part of an established group of companies that have thrived in the education and technology sectors across 3 countries for over 15 years.

The Sales Director will be instrumental in propelling sales initiatives forward, amplifying our market presence, and aligning our offerings with the evolving demands of our clientele. 

This role offers a full-time position headquartered in Oradea, with periodic travel commitments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Sales Strategies: Craft and implement a robust sales strategy to elevate market share and underpin company expansion.
  • Lead Sales Team: Cultivate and steer a high-performing sales team, promoting a culture of persistent learning and excellence.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Pursue and surpass ambitious sales objectives by prospecting new business avenues and sustaining current client engagements.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Build and uphold powerful, enduring connections with pivotal clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct Market Research: Perform thorough market research to spot trends and opportunities, tweaking sales tactics to align with market needs.
  • Foster Collaborative Efforts: Engage closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to synchronize strategies and enhance customer experiences.
  • Oversee Budget: Manage the sales budget, guaranteeing optimal resource allocation and accomplishment of financial targets.
  • Monitor Performance: Set key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge and boost sales productivity and efficiency.
  • Encourage Innovation: Advocate for innovative sales approaches and the adoption of best practices to secure a competitive edge.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive Sales Experience: At least 8 years of senior-level sales experience with a demonstrable history of reaching and exceeding targets.
  • Academic Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • Strategic Acumen: Proven expertise in formulating and implementing sales strategies that drive business achievement.
  • Leadership Excellence: Superb leadership skills with experience in developing and motivating successful sales teams.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication proficiencies, adept at negotiation and influence.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability in data-driven decision-making.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and sales metrics.
  • Innovation Ability: A proactive stance on embracing change and fostering creativity within the sales domain.
