Are you an SAP expert with a passion for problem-solving and data-driven insights? Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Sibiu, is looking for a talented SAP Manufacturing Business Analyst - Europe.
Area of Accountability
Responsible together with senior SAP resources for support of core SAP manufacturing business applications and services (incl. Materials Management, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, and EDI) and for BI (MS Power BI) at the European SAP locations. Works together with SAP senior manager in relation to ERP implementations and upgrades. Will work together with external Power BI support to solve questions/issues and developments for existing and new Power BI reports in Europe.
Major Responsibilities:
🔹Support & Troubleshooting: Helping triage and resolve issues related to SAP system usage and functionality in conjunction with senior SAP resources and external partners.
🔹First level of support for Power BI questions/issues in coordination with external support company. Ongoing development of new Power BI reports as defined by the business.
🔹Testing and quality assurance: Conducting system testing to ensure the SAP system changes and enhancements meet business requirements and are free from defects.
🔹User training and support: Providing end-user training and support for SAP manufacturing applications as required in resolving daily operational issues.
🔹Documentation: Documenting business requirements, system designs, and configuration changes.
🔹Continuous improvement: Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and implement best practices in SAP system usage.
Experience:
▪️ Proven experience supporting SAP system users in a manufacturing environment.
▪️ Working knowledge of some or all SAP modules IM/MM/PP/WM.
▪️ Having previous experience as part of a full life cycle SAP implementations or upgrades in a manufacturing plant is an advantage.
Qualifications:
▪️ Bachelor’s degree in business or computer-related field required.
▪️ Knowledge of project management.
▪️ Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
▪️ Ability to interface with external suppliers.
▪️ Ability to work with all staff levels to ensure proper communication of project status and to identify and escalate issues as appropriate.
