We seek a diligent and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Specialist to join our business partner team. They are a leading provider of essential business services to help companies and private capital funds grow across the entire business and investment life cycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting services, payroll, and financial reporting. This role will be crucial in ensuring financial operations run smoothly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Handle payroll-related queries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow.
- Assist in tax preparation and filing.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Exact, Saga, SAP, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Conversational level of English;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
