We are looking for a SENIOR BUYER with German.
Major Responsibilities:
Ensure the most efficient and reliable support to customers;
Act as the main communication point between the customer and its suppliers (English/German written and spoken);
Maintain the ERP-System – purchasing side;
Create purchase orders;
Create and manage suppliers master data;
Update order confirmations;
Responsible for the purchasing process at the customer;
Support of all the other departments in purchasing topics – technical, accounting, etc;
Require quotes from suppliers;
Scouting for new suppliers;
Identify the optimization potential at the process + cost levels;
Negotiate the conditions with suppliers;
Analyze data and summarize topics with gathered information;
Support the business organization and expansion strategy;
Must haves:
Good practical knowledge of SAP MM and Excel/Word/PowerPoint;
Experience in operational purchasing;
Good German/English speaker;
Very high ethical standards (purchasing activities can be sensitive);
Most importantly reliable and trustworthy;
Nice to have:
Studies in business and/or administration;
Good experience in analytical topics in purchasing;
Experience in marketing and/or sales;
Experience in maintenance of websites and/or management of professional social media;
Job particularities:
Full remote position (except for training or meetings at customers a few weeks per year if needed);
Flexible working times;
Various customers mainly in Germany of different sizes and in various fields.
